About: Our Grassroots Program is designed to be FUN and engaging while focusing on a fundamental teaching curriculum. Our goal is to increase player basketball knowledge through core fundamental skill-work.

Meet our Coaches
ANDREA VERES was a four-year varsity starter at Bethlehem Catholic High School where she scored 1,238 career points and still holds the Lehigh Valley Conference record for the most three pointers in a game. She ranks second all-time in career three pointers in the LVC. Andrea was a two-time All-Conference First Team selection, two-time First Team All-Area selection, and two-time Bethlehem Catholic MVP. While at Bethlehem Catholic, Veres led the Lehigh Valley Conference in scoring her junior year and led the Hawks to their first district playoff berth in seven years. Andrea continued her basketball career at Division II East Stroudsburg University, where she was a four year starter and three year team captain. Andrea finished her career with 925 points and ranks second in career three point field goals and foul-shooting percentage, and tenth in career assists. While at ESU, Andrea was named team MVP, two-time Lehigh Valley Scholar Athlete, five-time PSAC East Freshman of the Week, and received the ESU’s Coaches Award. Andrea currently works as a Speech- Language Pathologist in the Phillipsburg School District.
MIKE HAUGHEY was a two-sport athlete at North Hunterdon High School. He then earned his degree from Thomas Edison State College and has been a Special Education Aide at Delaware Valley High School. At Del Val, has been the Head Varsity Football Coach and Head Girls Basketball Coach since 2013. During his tenure, he earned multiple coaching and team accolades. In addition to his head coaching duties, Coach Haughey runs annual summer camps for incoming Del Val players for both football and basketball. Outside of Del Val, Coach Haughey has been an instructor at Hunterdon Hoops camps and clinics. Coach Haughey is currently a Kindergarten Teacher at Lester D. Wilson School (Alexandria Township).
